AustralianPipelineValveStandardvalvescanbeusedinatemperaturerangebetween-29to+490C. (Note,pressurelimitationsapplyabove38CrefertoPressure/Temperaturecharts.)Forservicetemperatures below-29Cvalvesconstructionmaterialsshallbesubmittedtoanimpacttestattheminimumservice temperature.Fortemperaturesaboveandbelowthestandardrange,specialsealsneedtobespecifiedbytheclient.2. Theonusisonthecustomertospecifyallmaterialsofconstructionandserviceconditions.AustralianPipeline Valveshallassumestandardmaterialsandconditionsifnototherwisespecified.3. AustralianPipelineValveStandardvalvesarenotequippedwithdevicessuitabletoavoidinternal over-pressurescausedbyincorrectoperationsofprocessorby-fluids&liquidssubjectedtoanincreaseof volumeand/orpressure(thesedevices,suchastheover-pressureholeinthegateorsafetyseatsare availableuponrequest).4. AustralianPipelineValveStandardvalvesarenotdesignedwithspecialdevicestowithstandasuddenthermal jump(thermalshock).5. IngeneralAustralianPipelineValveStandardvalvesarenotmechanicallydesignedtobearoverloadsdueto exceptionalatmosphericornaturalphenomenons(suchasearthquakes).6. IngeneralAustralianPipelineValveStandardvalvesarenotdesignedtobearloadsonflanges,onpipe connectionsorpipe-line.7. IngeneralAustralianPipelineValveStandardvalvescantwithstandiceinsidetheirbodies(inthiscasethe userhastoconsidertheoptionalstemextensionforinsulating,avoidingthepresenceofresidualproductinsidethe valve).8. AustralianPipelineValveStandardvalvesarenotsuitableforlowtemperatureservicebelow-29C(-20F) unlesssupplied(inasuitablebodymaterial)withcryogenicstemextensionandothermodifications, (availableonrequest).9. AustralianPipelineValveStandardvalvesaresuitableforindustrialoxygen(notmedical)servicewhen supplieddegreasedandpackedinpolyethylenebagsonly.10. Thecompatibilitybetweenthevalvesconstructionmaterialsandmediumisselectedbytheuser.Theuseris ultimatelyresponsibleforverifyingthecompatibilitybetweenmediumandmaterials.11. Abrasiveordirtyserviceapplicationsneedtobeconsideredandstatedattimeoforder.VALVE START-UPBeforeinstallingthevalveontothepipe-lineitismandatory,fortheuser,toverifythecompatibilityofthevalvewithserviceconditions(medium,temperatureandpressure).Withreferencetostandardvalvesheldinstock,theresellerandenduserwillhavetoassurethemselvesofthecompatibilitybetweenthevalveandtheconditionsrequiredbythecustomer.AustralianPipelineValvegatevalvesmustbeonlyusedforon-off(fullyopen/fullyclosed)service.Beforeusingthevalveinapotentialexplosiveatmosphereitsnecessaryforthecustomerto:- Toverifythecorrecttypeofvalveandoperatorisspecified.
